This Truxxx 2-3" leveling kit fits the 1988-1999 6 lug series Chevrolet and GMC 4x4 pickups.

Okay, reality is this is a special truck, an OBS Chevy/GMC that needs a little preprep...so while all of our Truxxx 2-3” leveling kits are a direct bolt in requiring no special shop tools (besides the basic hand tools, all you need is a very common C clamp style puller) and no modifications to your vehicle....

TIP: simply due to age go buy your self a couple cans of PB BLASTER Penetrating oil and liberally soak the torsion bar & keys where they go into the lower control arm and the keeper ( the opposite end :-)...we just saved a 1992 Reg Cab stepside from the crusher and it needed 4 cans to break everything loose...so worth it, I forgot how badass these trucks were with just a little more tire - we did 285/75R16's on ours

All Truxxx torsion key kits provide up to 3” more front wheel travel plus this kit will increase ground clearance over traditional bracket type lift kits even without the use of larger wheels and tires for those interested in getting the most out of there truck for recreational or construction use...yes, you get more wheel travel with our torsion keys!

Every Truxxx 2-3” leveling kit is made using USA and Canadian Mill Certified Steel and laser cut to precision tolerances using OEM drawings. 

This Truxxx 404014-A 2-3” levelling kit contains 2 front torsion keys, some simple shock spacers, all hardware needed, detailed instructions and complete updated alignment specs.

Recommended installation time is approx 2 hours ( after the PB Blaster treatment) + alignment and a 33” tall tire are commonly used on a stock style offset wheel.
